Hey guys! Sorry I haven’t posted in a while. School has started and I’ve been busy trying to make ends meet.
On the musical front, I played a concert last Sunday and I just restrung my guitar for the first time. My electric bass will be next… MUAHAHAHAHA! XD Going to jam some more with J. Stone and company tonight so hopefully I’ll be able to keep up in my sleep-deprived, post-concert-soreness state.

Another idea. It’s about as concrete as my ska cover of SR-71’s “Right Now.”
Hey all! Yesterday I jammed with Claire for a bit and I put up a track we made that I felt fit “Jacque Vesuvius,” whatever that means. :) You can go check it out on MySpace if you’ve got the time. While it’s a basic chord progression over a long period of time — and thus, quite repetitive — I like what it has to offer because a) I get to practice my improvisation on double bass and b) I want to mess around with more bluegrass/folksy types of music.
I also might have a small group in the works so sit tight and hopefully something awesome will spring forth from that. :)

This take has a few screw-ups and is cut short but I like the intensity present here. I just imagine this really intense guitar piece that could evolve out of this. Maybe it’s because I just saw the trailer for Christopher Nolan’s “Inception.”
Standard tuning, finger-picking motif. Just hammers on and off. Maybe I’ll make a video so I remember how I played it!
